Is a terrorist human?

Who is a terrorist? Should we shot them at sight? Or what actions should be taken against them? Am I a terrorist? Are all of us terrorists? Is a terrorist human?

Let me be very clear that I would have acted the same way as all Mumbaiwala's did, if victims would have been among my near relatives. I would have reacted the same way saying “kill those non-human SOB’s”. But as the cloud of fire and hatred has settled down, rather silent now, let us spare some time to think were those terrorists human or is any terrorist human? Are those terrorists born that way? Or it is us who made them this way?
Surely no one is a terrorist by birth so it is something during the process that made them terrorist?
Who is a terrorist? Terror is a latin word meaning "to frighten" and terrorism is referred to those acts which are intended to create fear (terror).
Think if we got so carried away just by one instance or sometimes just by listening to our leaders, that we want to kill not only those who attacked but everyone related to them (Isn’t this a terrorist behavior?) then if you are told from the time of your birth that I have killed your family or harassed your people and I am your enemy, what would be your reaction? Wouldn’t you like to take revenge? What’s the difference then!! It is not the individual who is a terrorist; it is the system that makes their minds to do this. It is not the terrorist who are needed to be killed, it is the system that teaches this hatred which is needed to be cleaned.
Some people argue that don’t they have mind to think what’s right and wrong? Can’t they take sensible decision? I don’t know about psychology but it’s there way of making decisions, and in my opinion they do think sensibly. Although sensibility is different for everyone. Calling a red round shaped eatable, an apple is sensible only because we are told so. Similarly when we are told to follow some particular religious believes those become sensible to us in spite of the fact that everyone follows different believes, then how is it insensible to kill your enemies if you are told that killing your enemy is a holy work as it will free your soul and land from age old bondage and you will go to heaven by ruining your enemies. One can even misinterpret The BhagwatGita and The Ram Charit Manas to create havoc.
“Dhol Gawanr Shudra Pashu Naari, Sakal tadan ke adhikaari”
from Ram Charit Manas meant to convey that anyone belonging to the following groups - (drum, illiterate, workers, animal, women) should understand their boundaries for the society to work properly, can be misinterpreted as “anyone of these should be beaten.” Similarly
“Sukh-dukhe same kritva, labhalabhau jayajayau,
tato yuddhaya yujyasva, nai avam papam avapsyasi”
from Gita meant to motivate Arjun towards his work can be misinterpreted as “you should fight against your enemies without taking care of pleasure or pain, loss or gain, victory or defeat, and you will not be charged for any sin.”
If these interpretations were taught to you even before the time you started thinking then won't it had been sensible to you? I think it’s not the individual who is to be blamed but the thinking that has been induced in his mind. It’s time to target the root not the fruits, the world should get united rather then blaming each other. We all should practice being affectionate and respectful to each other to make the world a better place.

A lonly night of new year

This is Jan1, 2009, first day of the year; I am evolving, finding some hidden truth about myself. Getting to know myself and feeling demands of every beat of my heart. It is the barricade that I am passing through which was keeping my soul from performing its purpose in this universe. I am feeling a dying demand for blood; I think I am becoming a cannibal.
As I finished watching the Hannibal series (Red Dragon, Silence of the lambs, Hannibal, Hannibal Rising), I realized my true needs, my purpose. I am starving for some human flesh. Darkness of night and loneliness of the hostel are making me more and more miserable towards my hunger.
I have searched across the lobby but there is nobody there, the dark silence is making my soul cry like a child craving for his mother. No one cares for me, no one ever did… I need nobody, I am going to find it by myself and then I won’t care for them either…
And He is still with me, He is guiding me. He is saying:
Him: That I don't think, you would like.
Me: It looks good.
Him: It is good.
Me: Can I have some?
Him: You're a very unusual boy, aren't you?
Me: I couldn't eat, what they gave me.
Him: Nor should you. It isn't even food, as I understand the definition. Which is why I always, bring my own. So which would you like to try? Well, I suppose it's all right.

He knows what I want and always gives me. I am becoming like Him….. but people say He is a monster……… Nooooo, He is not, they are going to pay for that, I will make them feel pain, I will make them. No mercy…
(Don’t be alone on a new year’s night. In case you are then just go to bed and have some sleep. At last Happy New Year, have fun but be careful because I am watching you.)

The Road to Success

As I believe in Hinduism and I have heard and read more about it then any other religion, so my discussion here will take examples of Hindu Gods and Mythological figures.

Is cheating or lying a bad thing rather a crime?
I’ll get back to this question later; let us consider the other question first:
Is cheating or lying the way to succeed in this world?
Probably answer would be “Are you out of your mind? This sure is not the way to succeed.”
But I disagree with all of you who don’t think cheating is the way to succeed because Most of those who have become famous are the ones who are either cheaters or liars in one way or the other. Starting from the ancient world with Lord Vishnu, Lord Ram, Lord Krishna to the modern world with Bill Gates, Dhirubhai Ambani and our politicians are some of the those whom we either worship or regard as our role models. But can you imagine what all of them have in common? ”They all have cheated or lied? And they all have ruled over the world in there fields”
Based on User’s category I would like to divide my discussion in two parts, one with Mythological figures (Please switch off your modern scientific thinking while reading this section) and other concerning with modern time:

i)
Starting from the beginning of the world when “nectar pitcher” came out of ocean as a result of “Samundra Manthan” both Devtas (Angles) and Danavas (Devils) should have given the part of that but Lord Vishnu cheated on Devils and gave all the nectar to angles.
Lord Rama cheated on Bali and Ravan. While killing Bali he hid himself behind a tree, not even having courage to fight directly. While killing Ravan he used Ravan’s brother against him to know the secret.
Lord Krishna got a second name “Chaliya ( Cheater )” so need not to explain anything, but for just one reference: Arjun vowed to kill Jayadrath before the sunset next day; or if he could not kill him before the sunset then to immolate himself. But he couldn’t find him then to save looser Arjun’s life Krishna cheated and hid the sun to fake the sunset.
Every war from the beginning of the universe is won by the cheaters. The two famous “Dhram Yudhs” (Just war) of Ramayana and Mahabharata would not have been the same without cheatings.

Some of you must be thinking that all of these were not cheatings but the necessity of time, “If Lord Vishnu had given the nectar to the Devil, it would have created a havoc.” Or “If lord Ram have not killed Ravan, he would have made more damage.”

But let us rethink again, “What these Devtas (angles) like Indra (head of angles) do to us except fearing and running from one God to another for help and snatching all our Punaya (result of our good deeds)”. On the other hand Raven promised that he would make stairs from earth to heaven, wouldn’t had it been different from the present situation. I don’t know what result all these changes could have caused, may be the outcomes would have been worst. BUT we can not question whether this outcome is perfect or the one with no cheating would have been perfect because we are forced to think in this way for more then 10000 years. For all these years we were told to think them as path setters for the humanity and their deeds as the holy work.

In case of our Mythological figures as they were example of success and fame, over the period of 5000-10000 years their cheatings are transformed as the earthly deeds of supernatural power.

ii)
Bill Gates and Dhirubhai Ambani couldn’t even have started their business without cheating. MsDOS, which gave birth to the huge Microsoft industry, was not gate’s own idea. Dhirubhai’s export and mobile signal transmission strategies were some of the cheatings that made him successful. Cheatings of our politicians need not to be discussed here as everybody knows about them a lot.

You might be thinking if Ambanis would not have used his mobile signal transmission strategies, India had not been having mobile revolution, but this could have been done without cheating by paying the requisite amount first rather than making money from it first and then paying a little penalty for that.
As they became famous and successful, over the time the Cheatings of these modern era people have become the successful business strategies and have become a part of business tactics used by all new emerging entrepreneurs around the globe.

It’s not like that the cheaters get success easily, they have to face great opposition and humiliation in their time as one will face on a normal day if he cheats on someone.
BUT
Your all cheats and lies will be forgotten or transformed as necessity of time if you get succeeded or get famous enough to be a role model. It’s not that if you are a cheater, you will become successful. But cheatings are necessary and if you become successful your cheatings will become lessons. It’s the end result that matters not the cheatings you have done or the lies you have told.

The questions remain;
“Is cheating or lying a bad thing??”
“If this is the end result that matters, should I cheat to get to the end?”

Quota - "Ladoo and Diabetes"

Quota is like a ladoo, which is liked by everyone but some can not taste that because they fall in the diabetic category. I am one of them so my point of view about this ladoo might be somewhat disturbing for those who really enjoy this.
Quota, as defined by some great social leaders is the weapon for social reform, uplifting lower castes and equality in the country. What I think about the quota is that it is the price the government parties are willing to pay to the violent and specific category of voters in turn for their victory.
“The Hindu” articulated the reason why the government has accepted the 5% separate quota recently that “Protestors residing nearby Delhi grab the limelight easily by blocking all the main roads and rails and the government is often left with no option but to give in to the demands of the protestors. Whereas the protestors in the far north-east have not been given this kind of importance, despite all their efforts to create instability and unrest.” This makes me think why Delhi (the government) is so afraid of violence rather than opposing this with the very same force. It is puzzling to me as to why there is this discrimination between Delhi and not only the north-east but also the rest of the country.
There is another issue which I am concerned about is caste based reservation. In U.P. these people from the Scheduled Castes first demand for the quota and while this is being taken into consideration they are ready to be called “scheduled caste” OR pichdi/choti jaati ke log” but if it is some other occasion when they are referred to as “Chamaar” OR “Bhangi” which no doubt they are, will cause a havoc. When Brahmins are called “Pundit” OR “Brahmin” and Vaishya or Baniyas are called “Baniya” OR “Lala” then why is there this big issue in calling Shudras a “Bhangi” OR “Chamaar”. On one hand they want to be “Pichdi/Choti Jaati ke log” for securing the seats, then why is the earth under their feet cracking when they are called by there caste name on a regular day.
The chief minister once said:
Tilak, tarazu aur talwar, teenon ko maaro joote char

(we should hate and take revenge from all upper caste people (Tilak represents Brahmins, Tarazu represents all Vaishya and traders class people and Talwar represents Shatriya)) which conveys a message of their hatred to all classes of society except their own. And when votes were needed from the same upper caste people, the quotation changed to
Yeh haathi nahin Ganesh hai, Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh hai

(Brahma, the god of knowledge and creation representing Brahmins, Vishnu, the God of food and prosperity representing Vaishya and Mahesh, the God of destruction representing Shatriyas) conveying that all upper caste people are worth worshiping, what do they want to convey?
I am not a supporter of caste/race discrimination but till these divisions are there, this barrier can not vanish. Quota and reservations are not the effective solutions in the present condition, what is needed is the alleviation of poverty irrespective of caste.
In case of administrative services there should be no quota at all, we need to govern the country, not a candy shop. When it comes to handling a country and its development then how would a person who doesn’t even have adequate information and knowledge about all this be able to handle this. There are many people from reserved categories who are very brilliant and crack the UPSC, these are the ones the country needs, others should be inspired by them and not just be dependent on the quota.
In my opinion establishment of quota/reservation instead of filling the gap in our society is creating a bigger crater, as the people who have sound knowledge in these particular topics are standing aside and the others with no such qualities are taking advantages. If this is not going to stop then one after another every one will demand for the quota, and government will no doubt approve that because of its vote bank. Which makes me think that can quota exceed a limit of 100%?

Hindi and Hindustaan

हिन्दी और हिन्दुस्तान (Hindi and Hindustaan) does not seem to be an interesting topic; you would be willing to kill your time for, but it is something which forces me to think about the condition of my country and language Hindi some 80 or 90 years later. Why are we adopting the English way rather than following our Hindi way?
The very first question that would come to your mind is "Why is this person commenting on the condition of Hindi and Hindustaan when he himself is using English to write this stuff?"
Same question came to my mind also just before writing this article but the reason why i am writing this in English is some of my fellow countrymen don't understand Hindi and among those few who understand, 70% think that this language is not worthy at all so if this was written in Hindi; they would have clicked to the cross sign at right most top corner of the window by now.(In terms of cyber aware population)

One thing which i could not understand till now in this regard (as i do have this not understanding problem in so many topics) is why we Indians don't give a damn about our own language despite of the fact that we know plenty of examples like Germany, UK, Russia, Japan and many others who used their own languages as the building block of their achievements. What better example can i give you than the internet encyclopedia Wikipedia which is available online in languages like French Portuguese Spanish .!.but not in Hindi .!. Only we ourselves are to be blamed not anyone else. Why we just follow others, to the level of of adopting their language. I am not against English or any other regional language but why can't we be united. Wouldn't it be better if every body from Himalaya to Kanyakumari speaks Hindi leading to prosperous and powerful India as it would lead to great coordination in terms of business and trade (where Marwari from Gujarat don't feel like trading with some trader of U.P.) as well as defense sector (here Rajput regiment of Rajasthan think themselves different from Gorkha regiment of Utterakhand ). As Bhartendu Harishchandra has said :
"निज भाषा उन्नति अहें, सब उन्नति को मूल |
बिन निज भाषा ज्ञान के, मिटे हिय को शूल ||"
One can raise a point why same can’t be done using English which is used by so many others around the globe. It can be done but it would take another century to do that as more than 70% of our country's population don't have any exposure to this foreign language and those who know it have all different levels of understanding,(4 percent of the population use English - http://www.chillibreeze.com/EnglishinIndia.asp) I would rather say "Kab tak hum dusaron ka bojhe dhote rahenge" its time to do our own stuff , to unite the country in a whole new way. Shri Maithli Sharan Gupta has said:
"जिसको न निज भाषा तथा निज देश का अभिमान है|
वह नर नहीं हैं पशु निरा और मृतक समान है ||"
Oh! you must be thinking about that 80 or 90 years later thing, I am coming to that point :
Imagine your children sitting along with your Grand children talking and behaving in some Hi Fi English manner, when suddenly your Grand son asks his father about Hindi and he replies "this was a cryptic(in sarcastic way) language which was used by few foolish and illiterate human being in some parts of the country at time of your Grand father. He himself never used that and never allowed me to do the same!"
How would sobbing heart of your soul feel about what you had done to your मातृभाषा and मातृभूमि, sitting in Heaven/Hell ???
I don't know if i made some sense to you, anyways thanks for investing your valuable time.
